Meet diddydeks' dj Derek
A bit of history
Derek first established diddydeks' disco in Milton Keynes in 1996, initially as a mobile disco for smaller venues which he promoted as "music in a matchbox". However his ambitions quickly grew and he soon acquired sound and lighting effects to enable him to do great discos in much larger spaces. In 2001 he invested in karaoke equipment and CDs, and more recently has computerised both the disco and karaoke to benefit from the most up-to-date technology. Latest addition to the kit is a large plasma TV screen used for the words in karaoke, and special effects on disco nights.
Attention to detail
The buzz Derek gets from being a dj is to see you and your guests having fun. His mission is to make sure it happens, and that your special event really is special. He insists on meeting in person before the big day to discuss what you want, and to help you to plan the schedule for the event. Ensuring that nothing is forgotten and the everything runs smoothly. Request slips and (for karaoke) song books covers are customised for your party, and he provides diddydeks' stickers (also personalised) to reward dancers or singers.
